Các danh từ trừu tượng như ‘experience, education, understanding, time’, v.v… sẽ dùng theo số ít hay số nhiều?
-Có thể nói ‘A KNOWLEDGE’ hay nói ‘AN EDUCATION’ không?

1. EXPERIENCE
– COUNTABLE: I had wonderful/great experiences when I was studying at Brighton University.
Ở đây experience có thể hiểu là trải nghiệm 😀
– UNCOUNTABLE: If a person wants to survive in the workplace, work experience is what they should have
Ở đây experience có thể hiểu là kinh nghiệm (làm việc) 😀

2. EDUCATION
– UNCOUNTABLE: The government should spend more on key areas including education and health care.
Education trong trường hợp này có thể hiểu là nền giáo dục nói chung
– COUNTABLE:
He had an expensive education at a prestigious university in the UK.
Education trong trường hợp này có thể hiểu là một khóa học/chương trình đào tạo.

3. TIME
– COUNTABLE 1: Like many of my friends, I had a great time in England.
Trong trường hợp này TIME có thể hiểu là một quãng thời gian cụ thể
– COUNTABLE 2: At times, the restaurant can get really busy.
Trong trường hợp này TIME có thể hiểu là thời điểm.
– UNCOUNTABLE: Children need to develop the ability to manage time effectively
Trong trường hợp này TIME là thời gian nói chung

4. KNOWLEDGE
– COUNTABLE: A detailed/basic knowledge of football is an important requirement for anyone who wants to manage the company.
Knowledge ở đây có thể hiểu là sự hiểu biết về 1 lĩnh vực cụ thể
– UNCOUNTABLE: Gaining knowledge is important for children
Knowledge trong trường hợp này là kiến thức nói chung
